In the beginning of the game, each participant receive two cards. These cards are face down and are called pocket cards. This round is followed by a round of betting. Then the dealer places three cards face up at the center of the table. These are the community cards and we call this round The Flop. This is an important part of the Texas Holdem game, because you have to consider your chances to win in accordance to the five cards that are dealt. In the next round the dealer puts another card face up on the table. The game continues with a round of betting.

Afterwards, the dealer placed one last community card on the Texas Holdem table. It is time for the last round of betting in the game. In the Showdown, all the players, who have not left the game must reveal their cards in order to determine the Texas Holdem winner. To decide which cadrs are stronger we use the hand ranking.
